Essential Requirements

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience of teaching within Early Years and Key Stage 1.
  • Demonstrate the skills of a good teacher, using first-hand experiences to interest, motivate and encourage pupils.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences.
  • Demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment where all children can thrive.
  • Use assessment and tracking information effectively to inform planning and ensure strong pupil progress.
  • Value outdoor learning and contribute positively to our Forest School ethos.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external agencies to support pupils' needs.
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school community.
