Anlaby Primary School are looking for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our friendly team and help support children during the lunchtime period. The post would commence as soon as possible depending on the successful candidate’s notice period. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. The post is subject to an Enhanced DBS clearance and two satisfactory references.

About the Role

  • Supervise children in the dining hall, classrooms and playgrounds.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and good table manners.
  • Support children as they eat, ensuring a safe and enjoyable dining experience.
  • Lead and participate in play activities, promoting inclusion and positive social skills.
  • Help to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils at all times.
  • Work as part of a team to create a happy, calm and nurturing lunchtime environment.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys working with children.
  • Is friendly, patient and approachable.
  • Can promote positive behaviour and act as a good role model.
