Market Weighton Infant School is seeking a motivated and caring Wraparound Care Supervisor (Out of School Club Level 3) to lead our breakfast club and after‑school provision from September 2026. The role is part‑time (17.5 hours per week) Monday to Friday at a fixed term until 31 August 2027.
Salary: £11,290 – £11,473 per year (Grade 4B term‑time pro rata).
Location: Market Weighton Infant School, Princess Road, Market Weighton, YO43 3EY.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the breakfast club (7.30am‑9am, Monday‑Friday) and after‑school provision (3.15pm‑5.45pm, Monday‑Thursday).
- Supervise and support children aged 3 to 7, ensuring a safe, nurturing and enjoyable start and end to the school day.
- Build strong relationships with pupils and staff, communicating clearly and maintaining a friendly, caring yet firm and fair approach.
Requirements:
- Experience of working with children, particularly in a childcare or educational setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to relate to children and adults alike.
- Ability to supervise children effectively and maintain a safe environment.
