£7,809 - £7,935 per year (Grade 4A term time pro rata)
Job Details
- Term: Fixed term until 31 August 2027
- Hours per week: 12.5 (part‑time)
- Working days: Monday to Friday
- Daytime hours: 08:45 – 15:30 with a half‑hour unpaid lunch break; term time only plus 4 training days
- Location: Market Weighton Infant School, Princess Road, Market Weighton, YO43 3EY
Responsibilities
- Support pupils to reach their full potential socially and academically.
- Assist in delivering interventions for children with SEN and work with groups of children.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to facilitate classroom activities and ensure a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Level 2 teaching assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Experience delivering interventions for children with SEN and working with groups of pupils.
- Positive enthusiasm and commitment to student development.
- Subject to an enhanced DBS clearance check; safeguarding and welfare of children are a priority.
