The predicted salary is between 39520 - 48720 £ per year.
To undertake all bulky collections from domestic and commercial premises. To deliver bins to domestic properties and to repair any bins as required. To remove litter from streets, open spaces and other associated land to a high standard. To work in accordance with pre-determined work schedules and standards determined by the Council, ensuring the Council's obligation under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 is met.
To work overtime or weekends to assist with the catch up of the refuse/recycling service after a bank holiday, due to vehicle breakdown, inclement weather or other operational pressures. On occasions, when the service dictates, you will be required to work on Saturdays and Bank/Public Holidays for which the appropriate enhancement will be paid.
Initiative, communication skills and good customer care skills are essential for this post. A full driving licence is essential with the entitlement to drive class C1 (7.5 tonne) vehicles. The role is based at the Market Weighton depot moving over to the Beverley depot in February 2027; good local knowledge of other areas within the East Riding would be useful.
