We are seeking an enthusiastic and flexible individual to join our catering team to help provide a range of meals for people who use the services across Millers Day Service, New House Residential Service, and Town View Respite Service – this includes older adults and adults who have a learning disability.

Duties will include supporting the Senior Cook/Cook with food preparation, including specialised diets, stock control, meal service, washing pots, and associated kitchen/domestic duties. You will be required to cover cooking duties in the absence of a cook; therefore, previous experience in a catering setting would be an advantage.

You must be willing to undertake all training relevant to the role. You will have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to offer good time management skills. You will be honest and trustworthy and be committed to working as part of a team within a busy kitchen that operates across seven days per week.

Hours – average 16.5 hours per week as required by the rota - this will include weekends and bank holidays.

Week 1 - Monday and Tuesday 5hrs, Saturday and Sunday 4hrs. Week 2 - Wednesday to Friday 5 hours.
