Join us in leading a large local authority workforce based in Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire. We seek an exceptional Director of People Services to shape a modern, inclusive and high performing organisation across one of the country’s largest unitary councils.
As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will drive our People Strategy, lead organisational change and workforce transformation to provide excellent services to our communities. With more than 9,500 employees working across a stunning geographical area from coastal areas and countryside to busy market towns, the East Riding faces complex workforce challenges due to financial constraints, recruitment and retention pressures and increased demand for specialist skills.
We need a HR leader who can help us modernise how we work and harness digital innovation. This role is ideal for an experienced, forward-thinking professional with a strong track record in large, complex environments. You will bring strategic leadership, ambition for continuous improvement and experience of effective governance with pace.
