This is an external vacancy and is not employment with East Riding of Yorkshire Council. We have an exciting opportunity to join the team at TEAL as an IT Engineer who will work as part of TEAL's school support team, supporting the IT infrastructure across all TEAL Schools, including LAN, WAN, WiFi, Server, Storage and IT assets. You will be the local IT support team's escalation link for resolving IT issues effectively. The role is solutions and problem-solving oriented, working closely with the local IT support team, the TEAL School Support IT team, and the IT Director to provide an outstanding IT Support service.

The role will be based at The HUB School in Anlaby; however, you will be required to travel to other sites where required. This is a permanent position working up to 37 hours per week; however, if you are interested in working on a part-time or term-time basis, we would be happy to explore this further with you. Your actual salary upon appointment with TEAL will be £36,363 (based on a full-time equivalent).

What are we looking for? We're looking for a solution-focused IT Professional with strong problem-solving skills. You’ll have:

  • Demonstrable experience working in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing competing priorities.
  • Prior experience of the education sector and school management systems is desirable, but not essential requirements.
