The job itself
The Information Governance and Feedback Team are seeking an Information Governance and Feedback Assistant to join a well-established team within Legal, Governance and Democratic Services. The post holder will assist in the coordination of the Council's corporate Feedback system ensuring the delivery of the Complaint and Feedback Policy. In addition to this they will support ongoing compliance with Data Protection legislation. The role will assist in the delivery of subject access requests, Freedom of Information requests, dealing with data protection incidents and providing advice to staff and customers. The post holder will be involved with wider Governance arrangements across the Council helping ensure compliance with statutory obligations, monitoring and reporting.
This role does work to legislative and statutory deadlines. In addition the role does require the review and redaction of sensitive information which may contain offending incidents or social care information.
Whilst this is a full time post, all consideration will be given to and applications will be accepted from those wishing to work either part time or a reduced working week, please specify as part of your application what hours and days are preferred, as applicable.
