The successful candidate will work autonomously to deliver a complete HR service to the school, with access to advice and support from senior HR colleagues in the central team. The postholder will foster effective relationships across the school to develop trust and credibility, in particular with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team. This is a permanent position working up to 37 hours per week, year-round, however we welcome applications from those looking to work on a flexible basis (e.g. term-time only and/or part time). We are looking for an individual who has previous experience of managing (investigating and resolving) complex, sensitive employee relations issues, including developing and maintaining positive, healthy relationships with trade union partners, ideally with knowledge of relevant national terms and conditions. The successful postholder must hold a minimum of a CIPD L5 (or equivalent) qualification. Full details of our essential and desirable requirements can be found in the person specification.
