St Anne's School, Sixth Form College and Residence on Boothferry Road in Hessle are looking for an outstanding HR Officer to join our team. You will have good communication skills and the ability to work accurately unsupervised. Confidentiality, discretion, diplomacy and tact are essential. You will provide proactive and professional HR advice and support to the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team and Governing Body.
Acting as the first point of contact for HR advice and HR related issues for a staff group of approaching 200, you will be a confident and capable individual. We are looking for someone with the following:
- Educated to A level standard or equivalent with GCSE's in Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above and a CIPD Level 5 qualification.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft ICT packages.
- Experience of employee relation issues such as sickness absence, disciplinary, probation and capability.
- Experience of recruitment, selection and appointment, ideally with knowledge of Safer Recruitment.
- Experience of working in an educational environment is desirable.
