Responsibilities:
- Use handheld or large grass cutting equipment to maintain green areas.
- Carry out grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting, herbicide application, litter picking, pruning, planting and other related activities.
- Adhere to work schedules and standards set by the Council.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Basic experience working or volunteering in a ground maintenance environment (training will be provided).
- Full driving licence.
- Strong listening, problem-solving and organisational abilities.
- Capability to work alone or as part of a team.
- Ability to treat customers with respect.
- Good local knowledge of other areas within the East Riding (useful).
