DSL and Pupil/Family Support Co-ordinator

Due to the retirement of our current postholder, we are keen to appoint a replacement to commence January 2026.

Our children are looking for someone who:

  • Is cheerful, kind and caring.
  • Is there to listen to their worries.
  • Helps them to keep themselves safe.
  • Has an understanding of children and their needs

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Empathy, sensitivity and passion for the safeguarding and well-being of young people.
  • A thorough knowledge of relevant legislative and policy frameworks relating to the safeguarding and protection of children.
  • An understanding of the role of agencies involved in such work.
  • An ability to analyse key information.
  • A problem-solving approach and an ability to manage your own time under pressure.
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills.

Specific training, if necessary, will be available for someone with the relevant skills and experience.
