We’re looking for a Family Help Practitioner to join our dynamic and supportive team in East Riding of Yorkshire Council. About the Role
As a Family Help Practitioner, you’ll:
- Be the lead professional for families, coordinating multi‑agency support.
- Undertake whole-family assessments and develop outcome-focused support plans.
- Deliver a range of evidence-based interventions, including parenting programmes.
- Work flexibly across community settings, including homes, schools, and Children’s Centres.

What We’re Looking For
- Holds an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
- Has experience working with children and families to deliver preventative interventions.
- Understands the social and economic challenges that affect family outcomes.
- Can lead and coordinate multi‑agency support and assessments.
- Has strong communication, time management, and partnership working skills.
- Is flexible, values‑driven, and committed to continuous professional development.
- Holds a full driving licence and has access to a vehicle.
