This role attracts an additional enhancement for weekend working. The role requires weekend working as part of the normal work pattern (on a rota basis) for which an enhancement is paid. Based on the current rota the additional enhancement will be up to £3770 per year on top of the yearly salary (making salary up to £31,912 – £32,368).
The Traffic and Parking Team are looking for a motivated individual to assist the Parking Operations Manager, in providing an efficient and effective service of on-street parking enforcement and minimising the number of contraventions by motorist of the local parking regulations through the issuing of penalty charge notices (PCNs) including the Councils off-street car parks.
The successful applicant will supervise a team of Civil Enforcement Officers (CEOs) in providing an efficient and effective service of on and off street parking enforcement ensuring that they carry out their duties in accordance with statutory requirements. A requirement to wear full uniform and carry all equipment and identification while on duty and is to be based at Beverley. However, they will be required to cover and enforce throughout the East Riding of Yorkshire.
The successful candidate will also be required to drive a council van, and/or ride a bicycle/moped.
The postholder must be adaptable to work with changes to systems as necessary and have a flexible and positive outlook. Candidates will be expected to act with integrity and honesty, treat customers with respect and have a positive mental attitude with a \”can do\” approach. You will have the ability to learn and accommodate new ways of working and must be willing to undertake service specific training as necessary.
