We are looking for someone who can confidently lead on the legal preparation and delivery of Civil Marriage, Civil Partnership, and celebratory ceremonies. The Registration Service at East Riding Council is a unique and rewarding environment—one where people come to mark the most significant milestones of their lives.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council is offering a full-time, permanent position within the heart of its Ceremony Team, based at County Hall, Beverley. You will support couples from the very beginning of their ceremony journey—guiding them through the booking process, preparing all legal documentation, and delivering the ceremony itself. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in excellent customer service and brings a calm, reassuring presence to every interaction.
Full training will be provided to help you develop the skills and confidence needed to thrive in the role. To succeed, you will need to think on your feet, remain patient, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
