The passenger Services Unit is seeking to recruit a Driver to transport passengers to and from various educational establishments across the East Riding of Yorkshire and Humber Region.
Passenger Services provides Drivers and Passenger Assistants to transport various types of passengers (children with challenging behaviour, vulnerable adults, children with additional needs, medical patients) from home to schools, day centres and other destinations where required.
Hours of work can vary depending on the needs of the service but are generally between 06:00am and 10:30am and 14:00pm and 18:00pm Monday - Friday.
We are offering the opportunity to:
- Support the local community by delivering essential school transport.
- Receive a nationally accredited on-the-job training (Midas).
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a caring and responsible team player who treats customers with respect at all times.
- Understands the importance of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.
A Driving assessment will also be carried out at interview stage.
