We have an opportunity for a part-time Housing Management Officer to join our Housing Team. This is a varied role within a well-established and supportive team, where no two days are the same.

The post holder will be responsible for the management of properties within a defined geographical area. Key duties include:

  • The allocation of properties in line with the Council's allocations policy
  • General estate and tenancy management
  • The provision of housing options advice

The successful candidate will be required to manage all aspects of tenancy management, including:

  • Responding to reports of anti-social behaviour relating to Council-owned and managed properties
  • Assessing vulnerability
  • Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to resolve issues
  • Taking enforcement action where appropriate

The role also includes engaging with residents on the allocated patch, arranging estate walkabouts, attending resident meetings, and encouraging feedback to support continuous improvement in the services we deliver.

The post will be based at Bridlington Town Hall. However, the Council anticipates that the successful candidate will work in a blended way, combining home working, working from other centres, and office attendance.
