Overview

Beverley Tourist Information Centre (Visit Hull and East Yorkshire) is looking for a dedicated, customer-focused TIC Advisor.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with visitors.
  • Share knowledge of Hull and East Yorkshire tourism and geography.
  • Problem solve and work independently in lone working scenarios.
  • Use ICT systems and quickly learn new software.
  • Support the wider Visit Hull team and be flexible to work at different sites and cover colleagues on weekends, bank holidays and absence.

Working hours

  1. Week one: 10:00‑14:00 Mon, 9:00‑14:00 Tue, Wed.
  2. Week two: 12:00‑17:00 Mon, 9:00‑14:00 Tue, 10:00‑14:00 Wed.
  3. Week three: 10:00‑14:00 Mon, 9:00‑14:00 Tue, 12:00‑17:00 Wed.
  4. Week four: 10:00‑14:00 Mon, 9:00‑13:30 Tue, 8:45‑14:15 Wed.

Requirements

  • Proven customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of local tourism and geography.
  • Excellent ICT skills.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems.
