An 18 year old young man who is a wheelchair user and has cerebral palsy meaning that his mobility and speech are impaired. He is social and likes to experience new things.
We are looking for someone who is able to accompany him for social events or to take him new places.
We want him to be able to experience similar things to his peers and enjoy social events.
Preferably someone who is social, outgoing and who can converse / make conversation to bring him out of his shell.
Car driver is essential, all details can be discussed at the interview.
The Direct Payments Support Service is an in-house service provided by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
The service promotes independent choice and inclusion, allowing our service users to employ their own care and support as needed.
We support many individuals with varying abilities, assisting with advertising and recruitment for a range of roles including support workers, carers and personal assistants.
