Join our award-winning Fleet Services team, an integral part of East Riding of Yorkshire Council. We are seeking experienced Shift Supervisors / Workshop Controllers to support the maintenance of our diverse and varied fleet.
About the Role
You will oversee the day-to-day running of a busy vehicle maintenance workshop, ensuring efficient operations and high standards of service. Duties include:
- Managing planned maintenance schedules
- Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, from LGVs to plant equipment
- Supervising staff and prioritising workloads
About You
- Highly skilled and experienced vehicle technician
- Previous experience as a shift supervisor or workshop controller
- Strong communication and people management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
