Keldmarsh Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a Nurture Teaching Assistant to join our team. We are looking to appoint a Nurture Teaching Assistant who is passionate about helping children with additional needs, particularly supporting the social, emotional and academic needs, to overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential in a nurturing and supportive environment.
The role will be working alongside another member of staff to run the school's nurture provision. The right person will have evidence of supporting children with additional needs or barriers to learning to make good progress and be someone who is able to work closely with teaching staff to deliver the right support. This role also includes some midday supervision across lunchtimes.

We are looking for someone who can:
- Form strong nurturing relationships with children based on trust
- Engage and enthuse children with their learning
- Remain patient, calm and understand the needs of individual children
- Demonstrate high expectations so that children can reach their full potential
- Understand the importance of continuous provision and learning through play
- Understand how children make small steps of progress to reach an end goal
- Work well with teaching staff / SENCO to organise, facilitate and assess learning
