We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking legal leader to head our Legal Services team and act as Deputy Monitoring Officer. This is a high-profile role overseeing specialist legal functions across the Council and ensuring high standards of governance, assurance and compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, shaping and developing specialist legal teams across all service areas.
- Supporting the Monitoring Officer and acting in their capacity when required.

What You’ll Bring:
- Qualified solicitor, barrister or CILEX professional with a current practising certificate.
