East Riding of Yorkshire Council is seeking to appoint a Digital Curriculum Lead to join the Adult Learning and Employability team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated practitioner to help shape and deliver high-quality adult learning across the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Working under the direction of the Senior Adult Learning Curriculum Lead, the successful candidate will plan, develop, monitor and review learning opportunities within their digital curriculum specialism.
- The role will support the delivery of responsive, efficient and high-quality provision that is compliant with Adult Learning funding rules, aligned to strategic priorities, and relevant to the skills needs of the East Riding.
- The postholder will work closely with colleagues, tutors, partners and stakeholders to support high standards in teaching, learning and curriculum planning.
- This will include monitoring the quality and impact of provision, supporting accredited and non-accredited learning, contributing to curriculum development, and helping to ensure that learners can progress into further learning, employment and wider opportunities.
Qualifications
- We are looking for someone with relevant professional and teaching qualifications, strong experience of delivering adult learning, and the ability to lead curriculum activity across a complex and varied area of provision.
- The successful applicant will have excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills, together with a clear understanding of quality, learner progress, achievement and continuous improvement.
