In this influential role, you will shape complex decision‑making, guide frontline practice and drive lawful, person‑centered adult social care delivery within one of the country’s most stable and consistently high‑performing councils. This role offers a level of influence and variety rarely found in local government or private practice.
Responsibilities:
- Directly influence strategic decisions, working at the heart of the service rather than at arm’s length.
- Engage early in casework, within a team that values legal input from the outset.
- Manage a uniquely broad caseload, spanning safeguarding, mental capacity, Court of Protection litigation, inquests, tenancy matters and mental health‑related work.
