Overview
Pupil Support Assistant required to provide additional support to pupils, including personal and medical care.
You will work as part of a friendly team and contribute to our school values of kindness, ambition and creativity.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal and medical care and support to pupils as required.
- Support safeguarding and pupil welfare in line with school policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver inclusive, student-centered support.
- Promote pupil wellbeing, independence and positive behaviours in daily activities.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Positive disposition and ability to work as part of a team.
- Registration or eligibility for the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC); apply to register within the first 3 months of employment to ensure completion within 6 months.
- Regulated Work with Children status under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007; not barred from working with children.
- Right to work in the UK; provide documentary evidence as part of the offering process.
- References: minimum of two referees, with the most recent employer preferred; work email addresses only.
