East Renfrewshire Council is looking for a Communications Officer with a proven track record in working within a fast paced and creative communications environment.
The post holder will be part of a busy and fully integrated communications service which manages media relations, digital media channels, marketing, print and design, publications, internal communications and events.
You will have significant experience in digital communications and will know social media inside out. The post holder will provide strategic and operational advice and support to officers and councillors and promote best communications practice within the organisation.
The role will include responsibility for developing and implementing integrated communications plans across a range of external and internal communications channels. You will also play a key role on the provision of a 24-hour media relations service.
