We have an exciting permanent opportunity to join our Technology Enabled Care Team as Technology Enabled Care Manager for the Health and Social Care Partnership to lead and provide overall management of the Technology Enabled Care (TEC) service and staff within East Renfrewshire HSCP.
As part of this role, the successful candidate will identify and implement service developments and innovations which support adoption of TEC locally, focussing on prevention and supported self-management as an alternative to traditional care provision approaches. You will also be responsible for supporting the continuous improvement of TEC across the wider HSCP and evaluation of its implementation and outcomes, to evidence the benefits of TEC being fully integrated and embedded within local health and care strategies.
We need someone who has good experience of managing in a Telecare/Technology Enabled Care environment with a strong working knowledge of Telecare within a Health and Social Care Partnership. The successful candidate will require a minimum of SVQ Level 4 in Social Care (or equivalent), an award in management that is certificated at or above SCQF Level 9 (min 60 credits) and mapped against the National Occupational Standards: SVQ Care Services Leadership and Management SCQF level 10 along with having the ability to attain the standards required by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) to meet registration requirements commensurate with this post.
