We have an exciting permanent opportunity to join our Community Pathways team as Team Manager. Community Pathways is a service registered with the Care Inspectorate. The service provides a blend of building based support, projects and workshops, working with people in their own homes and local communities. Those accessing the service have additional support needs including learning disabilities, learning difficulties, physical disabilities, neuro divergent individuals and young people with service and care needs. The service is available for people aged 16 years and over.

The Team Manager will be responsible for 30 staff with direct line management responsibility for three Team Seniors. We need someone who is educated to degree level and registered with the SSSC. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills, extensive experience of adult care services and that you are a strong and effective leader. Ideally, the successful post holder will also have previous management experience in registered adult care services.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence therefore to apply if you are barred from working with children and protected adults. In addition to this, if you have lived or worked in any country outside the UK in the past 10 years, there may be a requirement for an overseas police check.
This post requires Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) registration. You must currently have registration or eligibility to apply from commencement of employment (you must apply to register within the first 3 months of employment to ensure registration is complete within 6 months of starting in your role).
