East Renfrewshire Culture & Leisure Ltd are looking for swimming instructors to join us on a part time/bank basis with a permanent contract. Our swimming programme offers a variety of opportunities to all who want to be involved in the sport. As well as our popular Scottish Swimming Learn to Swim programme, we offer a range of coach-led aqua activities and swimming lessons for adults, children and adults with disabilities.
Initially, work will be allocated to 2 hours permanent per week with potential to build these hours, and you will be asked to work hours, with commitment, to suit the requirements of the service. Due to the success of our swimming programmes, there is a strong possibility that hours will be increased permanently during the first few months.

Working with the Swimming Development team is dependent on evidence of satisfactory attainment of the skills, qualifications and competencies required for your role. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence therefore to apply if you are barred from working with children. In addition to this, if you have lived or worked in any country outside the UK in the past 10 years, there may be a requirement for an overseas police check.
