We are seeking an Early Years Play Worker to support Child Development Officers at Isobel Mair Family Centre. Responsibilities include assisting with practical tasks, preparing teaching materials, and supporting children during mealtimes.
Applicants should have, or be willing to obtain within 5 years of starting, a minimum qualification of SVQ Level 2 (or NC equivalent) in child care and education, recognized by SSSC. Experience working with children aged 0-5 in a nursery setting is desirable.

This position involves Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Applicants must not be barred from working with children and may require an overseas police check if they have lived or worked outside the UK in the past 10 years.
The role requires SSSC registration. Applicants must have or be eligible to apply for registration upon starting, with registration completed within 6 months of employment.
