Job Title: Early Years Play Worker

We are seeking an Early Years Play Worker to support Child Development Officers at Cart Mill Family Centre. Responsibilities include:

  1. Assisting with practical tasks
  2. Preparing teaching materials and resources
  3. Preparing for snack times and supporting children during mealtimes

Requirements:

  • Must have, or be willing to undertake, a minimum qualification of SVQ Level 2 (or NC equivalent) in child care and education, or an equivalent recognized by SSSC
  • If not currently qualified, applicants must source and fund this training and complete the course within 5 years of starting the role
  • Experience in a nursery environment with children aged 0–5 years is desirable
