East Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership have been on a journey to redesign services so that the voices of those we support are at the heart of what we do.
We are looking for an experienced, creative and motivated social worker to join our Mental Health and Recovery Service. Applicants should have experience of assessment and care management in a community care setting, excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience of partnership working.
Ideally the successful post holder will also have experience of working with individuals impacted by mental illness and alcohol and drug dependency in a recovery focussed way. A sound knowledge of the legislative frameworks that inform practice is important and it is essential that you are a qualified, registered social worker with a recognised Social Work Diploma or Degree.

- Hybrid employees are considered workplace based first, but they will have a level of flexibility to work from home up to 40% of their working week, if it is not to the detriment of their current tasks, team requirements or service needs.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence therefore to apply if you are barred from working with children and protected adults. In addition to this, if you have lived or worked in any country outside the UK in the past 10 years, there may be a requirement for an overseas police check.
If you are not currently registered with SSSC you will commence employment as a Social Work Assistant (Grade 7 - £32,008 to £34,399 FTE) until full registration is obtained.
This post requires Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) registration. You must currently have registration or eligibility to apply from commencement of employment (you must apply to register within the first 3 months of employment to ensure registration is complete within 6 months of starting in your role).
