The post holder will manage the day to day delivery of library services within a cluster, ensuring a culture of excellent customer care. You will be responsible for the delivery of library services across multiple locations and for the line management of staff in those locations. You will ensure effective service delivery, a high quality customer journey and appropriate staffing levels.
You will be involved in the planning, organisation and delivery of culture and leisure events in libraries within a cluster and for all health and safety matters within those libraries.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence therefore to apply if you are barred from working with children.
