Applications are invited from suitably qualified graduates for the position of Educational Psychology Assistant within the Healthier Minds Service, an innovative approach to promoting and supporting the mental wellbeing of children and young people within East Renfrewshire.
The Educational Psychology Assistant will be part of the Educational Psychology Service, located within the Healthier Minds Service and operationally managed by the Recovery & Service Development Co-ordinator: Children & Young People's Emotional Wellbeing. The successful applicant will work alongside colleagues to develop and deliver effective interventions that support children and young people’s mental wellbeing. They will also have a key role in supporting service evaluation, reporting and data collection/analysis.
This post is an ideal opportunity for individuals who wish to pursue a career in Educational Psychology. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with children. In addition, if you have lived or worked in any country outside the UK in the past 10 years, there may be a requirement for an overseas police check.
