We’re hiring an Advanced Practitioner Occupational Therapist (Moving & Handling) for our Children & Families service. Help shape a new, family-focused OT offer supporting children with complex needs—at school and at home. You’ll lead safe, evidence-based moving & handling practice, provide specialist assessment and training, and collaborate with social workers, support workers, and education colleagues. We welcome experienced paediatric OTs or candidates with strong transferable skills who can bring fresh ideas and a person-centred approach.

You’ll be part of a supportive, high-energy team where learning is encouraged, and your impact is tangible.

You will be:

  • Registered/registration-eligible OT; degree-qualified.
  • Skilled in moving & handling risk assessment, equipment provision, and coaching.
  • Collaborative team-player who can negotiate, problem-solve, and communicate clearly.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
