East Park is a long‑established Scottish charity that provides high-quality education, residential care, and transition support for children and young people with complex additional support needs, helping them achieve their full potential in learning, wellbeing, and life beyond East Park. With over 150 years of heritage and a strong reputation for compassionate, child- and person-centred practice, East Park is independently regulated by Education Scotland and the Care Inspectorate, consistently demonstrating high standards of care, leadership, and impact.
Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the Chief Executive will provide strategic and operational leadership across all services, ensuring consistently high standards. Working in close partnership with the Board, you will drive the organisation’s strategic development and long-term sustainability. This is a highly visible role that combines strategic clarity with strong operational oversight.
Collaborating closely with trustees, staff, families, commissioners, regulators, donors, and partners, you will further strengthen East Park’s services, culture, reputation, and long-term impact. The new Chief Executive will be an ambitious, values-driven senior leader with a strong track record in delivering person-centred services. You will bring excellent communication skills and the ability to represent East Park effectively to a diverse range of stakeholders, acting as a visible and trusted ambassador.
