Customer Service Assistant

We are looking for Customer Service Assistant’s to work at our brand-new store on Woodbridge Road in Ipswich.

As a Customer Service Assistant (CSA) you will be responsible for supporting your store to deliver high standards of customer service, availability and presentation, compliance, and engagement with your local community.

You will be working as part of a diverse and motivated team of colleagues who strive to attract and delight new and existing customers every day, supporting the ongoing growth and evolution of our business.

The people we are looking for

✅ People who are happy to work flexible hours , including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
✅ Over 18s only , due to the handling of age-restricted items (e.g. alcohol, cigarettes, lottery) and lone working requirements
✅ Comfortable with early starts or late finishes (depending on the role)
✅ Able to work well independently and as part of a team
✅ Confident using tills and handling cash or card transactions
✅ Comfortable serving customers and answering questions with a friendly attitude
✅ Happy to keep shelves stocked and tidy , including rotating products and working in chilled/frozen areas
✅ Willing and able to bake fresh goods daily , following clear instructions and ensuring great quality for customers
✅ Reliable and punctual , with a can-do attitude
✅ Willing to follow all health and safety, food safety and hygiene procedures
✅ No experience needed , just a great attitude – full training will be provided

The shifts patterns we are looking to fill

Role 2 – Customer Service Assistant (16 Hours)

  • Monday: 1pm–5pm
  • Wednesday: 7am–11am
  • Friday: 2pm–6pm
  • Saturday: 1pm–5pm

Role 3 – Customer Service Assistant (13.5 Hours)

  • Tuesday: 1pm–5pm
  • Thursday: 1pm–5pm
  • Friday: 4:45pm–10:15pm

Role 4 – Customer Service Assistant (14.5 Hours)

  • Wednesday: 5pm–10:15pm
  • Friday: 6:30pm–10:15pm
  • Saturday: 5pm–10:15pm

Role 5 – Customer Service Assistant (8 Hours)

  • Friday: 10am–2pm
  • Saturday: 8am–12pm

Role 6 – Customer Service Assistant (19.5 Hours)

  • Sunday, Monday & Tuesday: 6am–1pm

Role 7 – Customer Service Assistant (19.5 Hours)

  • Thursday, Friday & Saturday: 6am–1pm
