We are looking to recruit 1x full time (37.5 hpw) team member to provide high quality and efficient transactional HR services to the Trust and workforce, ensuring all transactions occur accurately, in a timely manner, in line with appropriate Trust Policies and Procedures.

Delivering a professional service focused on achieving a high level of customer satisfaction by offering support and advice where required and ensuring KPIs are met. Please note the post holder will be required to work from Lakeview House, Bedford.

Main duties of the job:

  • The post holder will be responsible - along with a team of other Officers - for monitoring, managing and processing HR forms and pay queries using our online ticket management system (Halo ITSM).
  • Processing forms and responding to queries daily; taking a proactive approach to ensure that queries are resolved and HR forms are processed within the designated timeframes and SLAs.

Person Specification:

Qualifications: Level 5 CIPD, or equivalent experience working in an HR or Payroll environment.

Skills & Knowledge: Accurate keyboard skills and the ability to create effective documents. To be competent in the use of ESR and TRAC.

Experience: Demonstrable experience of working within an HR or Payroll Environment, including the application of HR processes and procedures. Maintenance of filing systems and effective document management. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload, with good time management skills. Experience of using online/electronic systems to process and manage workload.

Personal Qualities and Attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in cooperation with others, and as part of a team. Can work under pressure at times and effective at working to deadlines.

Disclosure and Barring Service Check: This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
