Job overview
We are looking to appoint a receptionist / Front of House, if you have a professional approach, experience of care for people and working with the public, then we would like to hear from you.
You will need to be approachable, a good team player and remain calm under pressure.
You will need to demonstrate the ability to respect and maintain patient dignity and confidentiality in all situations and work in line with Trust Policy and procedure including Safeguarding Children, Young Adults and Adults.

Main duties of the job
To provide a ‘Front of house’ reception service for outpatients at Colchester Hospital. Providing support to patients/relatives and hospital staff with any enquires regarding their scheduled transport.
Completing all calls ahead to confirm patient travel for the following day and updating CLERIC System accordingly. Process bookings as required. Assist with hospital transport updates and ETA
Full training will be provided on appointment to ensure that you are fully competent in completing your duties effectively.
