The predicted salary is between 60000 - 80000 £ per year.

The purpose of this role is to provide an excellent and successful integrated programme of delivery for the reconfiguration of emergency control rooms, enabling the Trust to meet its strategic aims. The postholder will give leadership and professional management while ensuring delivery of the agreed business case, supporting directorates in redesign and modernisation of control room services, and maintaining full temporal and financial compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide an integrated programme of delivery for the reconfiguration of emergency control rooms.
  • Oversee, implement and lead programme delivery with minimal guidelines, setting goals and standards for others.
  • Provide leadership and professional management, taking responsibility for the delivery of the agreed business case and supporting directorates in redesign and modernisation.
  • Ensure delivery of the business case aims and objectives, with full temporal and financial compliance.
  • Implement and lead solutions that protect vital requirements, course-correcting where necessary.
  • Work with the Chief Operating Officer in developing the Trust's strategic actions and contributing to corporate strategy, policy and decision-making for the reconfiguration.
  • Collaborate with Deputy Directors, Heads of Service, Trust staff and external stakeholders to shape the direction of programme delivery.
  • Accountable for the management, development and implementation of the business plan and associated resourcing infrastructure to deliver patient care across EEAST, ensuring urgent and emergency care meets agreed key quality, performance and financial standards.
  • Work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure that strategic priorities and directorate management provide sustained optimum performance.
  • As an interim member of the Trust's Leadership Team, develop and implement further changes to emergency control room functions.
  • Build and develop a culture of delivery, improvement and innovation as a foundation for organisational performance.
  • Influence stakeholders, identify opportunities and oversee transformation and implementation of agreed changes, ensuring cohesive and aligned interaction across directorates.
  • Ensure timeliness of plans related to business continuity and hold responsible parties accountable for service delivery.
  • Represent the Trust externally and develop partnership working across all areas of the NHS regarding the implementation of the EOC reconfiguration programme.
  • Support the Chief Operating Officer as the executive accountable lead for the effective operations of the emergency control rooms.
  • Provide visible leadership to promote efficient resource use and a progressive, accountable culture in the delivery of the reconfiguration plan.
