We are looking for Paramedics and Nurses (Nurses must have adult nursing qualifications). We are seeking full or part time permanent staff, ideally to work on our core Rotas. A minimum of 18.75 hours per week is required.

Role purpose

This role intercepts lower acuity and clinically appropriate 999 calls, providing advice and arranging for safe and appropriate care pathways for these patients. The overriding aim is to appropriately and safely reduce 999 ambulance demand and A&E admissions. The candidate will be an integral part of the evolution and establishment of a Regional CAS that will develop a multi-disciplinary approach to 999 call interception as well as routine triage of non-emergency 999 calls. The successful applicant must hold an NMC nursing registration OR HCPC registered paramedic.
