We are currently seeking enthusiastic and passionate Ambulance Care Assistants to transport patients, who are frail or require specialist assistance, to and from appointments at hospitals, treatment centres, and similar facilities.

Requirements and Skills

  • Experience caring for people with proven customer care and communication skills.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and discretion.
  • Good sense of humour and local knowledge of the area.
  • Full UK manual car driving licence with at least one year's driving experience.
  • A maximum of 3 penalty points for minor motoring offences will be considered.
  • Ability to commit to a 3-week paid training course, including clinical and patient transport driver training, with full uniform provided.

Role Details

The role involves transporting non-urgent patients to and from health/social care premises and private residences. You will work in a team or independently, operating various vehicle types.
