We are now recruiting for Machine Operatives for our client, based in the Stanton By Dale area. These are initially on-going, temporary roles, working days and afternoons when required. Working in an engineering/workshop environment, this role has the potential to become permanent.

Duties:

  • Operating manual machinery (including boring, turning, milling and lathe machines)
  • Using verniers, callipers and measuring tapes

What we require from you:

  • Previous machining (particularly boring machines)/engineering experience, and able to work in a dusty/noisy environment
  • Welding experience preferable
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Able to work days and afternoons (Monday - Friday)
