In this role, you will build strategic relationships with key internal stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for Brand and Design services. You’ll oversee projects from brief to delivery, ensuring high-quality outputs are delivered on time and aligned with both creative and commercial objectives. You will also lead the Accounts team, prioritising workloads, optimising workflows and proactively addressing risks to ensure smooth delivery across multiple projects. You’ll leverage data and performance insights to monitor progress and report on team performance. Driving operational efficiency, improving processes, and supporting the development of the wider team through mentorship and collaboration are key responsibilities of the role.
What else you’ll be involved in:

- Lead planning meetings to define project requirements, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks.
- Provide clear, regular updates on progress, timelines, and budgets.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, project managers, and station staff.

- Oversee multiple projects, adapting to changes and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Support administrative processes including compliance, print, purchase orders, and events scheduling.
- Deliver contingency materials and bespoke signage for station and project needs.
- Ensure all customer-facing outputs meet franchise and compliance standards.
- Identify efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities across projects.
- Embed improved processes, tools, and ways of working to enhance delivery.
What we need from you:
- 5+ years’ experience in account management, with experience leading or coordinating teams.
- A degree or relevant professional qualification is preferred; however, substantial relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
- Strong track record in stakeholder management and hands-on delivery.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
- Proactive, process-driven mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly organised, with proven project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets, reporting performance, and identifying cost efficiencies.
- Experience using workflow or project management tools (e.g. ClickUp) to drive team efficiency.
- Strong governance skills, including critical path management and supplier coordination.
- Experience supporting business change and embedding new ways of working.
As well as a competitive salary, we’ll also offer you:
- 32 days’ holiday per year, rising to 34 after 2 years
- Free First Class duty travel on the EMR network

EMR has a hybrid working policy which is applicable for this role. This means the role can be based at home 2-3 days per week and on site 2-3 days per week. Should you wish to work full time on site, this is also an option. We are open minded to applications from people who wish to have flexible working. Many of our staff work flexibly in many different ways. Please talk to us at interview about the flexibility you need. We can’t promise to give you exactly what you want, but we do promise not to judge you for asking.
