We are looking for a Production Planner to direct and lead in the operational planning, ensuring that products are produced in the most cost-effective method, on time and in full against customer requirements. Responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining accurate, capacity-aligned production schedules.
- Monitoring finished goods inventory to ensure product availability and minimise excess.
- Contributing to ERP/MRP system improvements and planning processes.
- Issuing clear job cards to Production Supervisors for scheduled work.
- Providing timely data and insights for operational and strategic planning.
- Responding effectively to demand changes or production issues.
- Supporting the Production Planning Manager in identifying potential supply issues and developing plans to minimise them.
- Supporting wider business goals through efficient planning.
Key outcomes include:
- Timely, accurate production plans aligned with forecast and capacity.
- High product availability with reduced stockouts and excess inventory.
- Support for continuous improvement in planning tools and processes.
