South Derbyshire’s Street Scene Services team are looking to appoint full time Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our busy and successful front-line Street Scene Services based at the Council’s Depot at Unit 18 Boardman Industrial Estate, Boardman Road, Swadlincote, Derbyshire.
The job involves working within the Street Scene Teams undertaking a range of horticultural and cleansing tasks plus play equipment repairs and servicing across the district of South Derbyshire.
Responsibilities- Carry out a range of horticultural and cleansing tasks across the district of South Derbyshire.
- Repair and service play equipment as required.
- Work as part of the Street Scene Team to maintain high-quality street scene services.
- Be available to start work early in the mornings and work outside in all weather conditions.
- Meet the physical demands of the job and maintain good teamwork and communication with colleagues.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and start times as required.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
