North East Derbyshire District Council is a dynamic and ambitious organisation that delivers services to the community. Killamarsh Active offers a great working environment with facilities opened in 2022, including a 4 court sports hall, 2 squash courts, fitness studio, spin studio, soft play, 80 station fitness suite, café, 3G football pitch and meeting rooms.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the activity program runs to time.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Meeting and greeting customers.
- Working in a team environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to deal with face-to-face contact with a full age range of customers.
- A good understanding of a wide range of sports and leisure activities.
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting.
- Ability to carry out cleaning tasks thoroughly.
- Ability to use a modern till and booking system.
Other Requirements
The successful candidates will be subject to a Disclosure carried out by the DBS at the Enhanced Level. The post is normally based at Killamarsh Active but candidates may be required to work at other council establishments as needed.
