We are currently recruiting for a Finance Transactional Officer to join the Finance Transactional Team.
ResponsibilitiesThe Finance Transactional Team are responsible for monitoring and processing all financial transactions made by Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council, including income allocations, the end-to-end purchasing and payment process and expenditure reconciliations. The team are also responsible for providing administrative services in relation to insurance claims.
In addition, the team provides support for the same functions to Nuneaton and Bedworth Community Enterprises Ltd, the councils trading arm. The Finance Transactional Team prides itself in constantly improving and finding ways to be more efficient. We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual who works well as part of a team and can use their own initiative. We encourage our team to actively contribute new ideas and help shape our processes moving forward.
Person specification / QualificationsWe are specifically looking for someone who can demonstrate excellent attention to detail, IT skills, and a ‘can-do’ attitude, who thrives working in a team and enjoys providing exceptional customer service.
