The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We are looking to recruit a Senior Democratic Services Officer to work as part of our Democratic Services Team at the heart of the Council’s governance function. You will be responsible for servicing a wide range of committees, boards and panels providing procedural and constitutional advice to members and officers.
You will support the scrutiny function by being involved in work planning and review work. You will be politically aware and have relevant experience of working in a Democratic Services or similar environment. Tact, diplomacy and sensitivity are essential qualities.
The team is based at County Hall, Matlock and there will be a need to attend regular committee meetings, which all take place during the working day. This role offers hybrid working options which will be subject to service needs; there’ll be an opportunity to discuss working arrangements for this position at interview.
